If participant is unable to attend a conference for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with the CONECT organising team (email@example.com), someone else from the same institute/organisation.
If participant is unable to attend, and providing the conference organisers are informed in writing by the final date for payment that is displayed on the website for the event, a participant can leave the fee paid with the organisers as payment towards a place at the same event or next CONECT that takes place in the 12 moths following the originally booked conference. In the case of a contributing author, the paper will not published in the Conference Proceedings if the fee is held over for another conference.
Where the participant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another personn or to another event, then the following refund arrangements apply:
- Cancellation received 30 calendar days or more before the conference start date will be entitled to a full refund.
- Cancellation received between 15 and 29 calendar days (inclusive) before the start of the conference will be entitled to a 50 % refund of the registration fee.
- Late cancellations received between 1 and 14 calendar days (inclusive) prior to the start of the conference or failure to attend will be not be entitled to any refund.
- In the unlikely event that the conference has to be cancelled or its date altered, a full refund will be offered to all delegates.
All cancellations must be sent in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
