Abstract submission
Abstract
An abstract is a short, yet complete and comprehensive statement about your research paper. The abstract should contain 250–400 words. It should give a concise summary of the paper: research focus, research methods used, results and the main conclusions and recommendations. Ensure that your abstract is brief but comprehensive?) and is grammatically correct. A graph, a figure or other visual means added at the end of the abstract will help to make the abstract more attractive and will illuminate your main findings.
To avoid confusion, we ask you to provide different titles for your abstract and your full paper. Both published works will be assigned an individual DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number.
Guidelines
Please use these guidelines to format the abstract.
Submission
Submission is via online registration system: ect-journals.rtu.lv.
Approval
All Abstracts will be reviewed and approved by the Organising Committee. Rejections of the Abstract will be sent to you with reviewer comments. If revision is required, the revised Abstract must be submitted within a week. You can follow the status of the Abstract in the online registration system ect-journals.rtu.lv
Publication
A collection of abstracts (Book of Abstracts) will be published in printed version and online in Riga Technical University E-books catalogue.
Paper submission
Paper
After you submitted your abstract, please submit the full paper. A valuable research paper is always based on an in-depth independent study. To fit the scope of The Journal of Environmental and Climate Technologies, the paper subject has to be within the range of the following areas: bioeconomy, sustainable technology development, life cycle analysis, eco-design, climate change mitigation, innovative solutions for pollution reduction, resilience, energy efficiency of buildings, secure and sustainable energy supplies.
Environmental and Climate Technologies is an international scientific journal. Therefore, your submission is more likely to be published if your research paper contains an international dimension. For example, if you describe the state of the problem in your country, please compare it with the state of the problem in other countries.
In addition, a good scientific paper provides innovation, valid research, and verifiable data. Please use our guidelines to organize your research study into a clear, coherent, and accurate scientific paper.
The length of a paper is 8 to 12 pages. Please note, if the paper exceeds 12 pages, an additional fee will be applied for each extra page.
Only one article from one author is accepted. An additional fee is charged for each subsequent paper.
In order to avoid confusion, we ask you to provide different titles for your abstract and your full paper. Both published works will be assigned an individual DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number.

Approval
Please note that the acceptance of submitted articles is contingent upon receiving a positive peer review. Authors are responsible for ensuring the scientific quality of their paper. The initial submission does not guarantee publication. All submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, and they must receive a positive evaluation to be considered for publication.
If the reviewers find no issues with the paper, it can proceed for publication in the scientific journal. If, however, the reviewers recommend changes, authors are expected to make the necessary revisions and resubmit the updated paper for consideration.
It’s important to be aware that if an article receives a negative peer review, it will not be published in the scientific journal.
After the final acceptance the authors will be informed of the status of their participation in the Conference as a speaker in Session or a participant in Poster session.
